Postcard from Ireland: The Causeway Coast

I loved the Northern coast line! It was beautiful from the small towns like Portrush, with it’s sandy beach and surfers. To the ruins of Dunluce Castle perched on a cliff. And the unique coastline of Giant’s Causeway.

It’s hard to pick just one. I only spent one day in the area, but I’m sure could have spent several in this area.

  1. I have also walked these rock formations – twice! Once in 1956 when my mother took my brother and I to Northern Ireland to meet our Irish grandparents for the first – and only time. My mother was born and brought up in Ballymoney, Northern Ireland. My brother and I returned in 2009, and my 40 year old son and I walked the Causeway. What a beautiful and amazing place. My heart will always be in Ireland.
