Postcard from Ireland: Dingle, Co Kerry

I think the picture that most says “Ireland” to me is this one, taken in my favorite part of Ireland, the Dingle Peninsula. Forty shades of green, the distant sight of the blue Atlantic ocean, and black-and-white cows. Mountains, whitewashed houses, and rolling fields bordered by stone walls and hedgerows. Bright sunlight on everything, but the grey clouds hint of the rain we’ll soon get – and will soon pass. That’s the Dingle Peninsula to me.

  1. Thank you for sharing. Dingle is also my favorite part of Ireland. I would go so far to say it’s my favorite place on earth!! I can’t wait to return next year and spend more time there!
