Ireland in Bloom

Hydrangeas in Bloom

This weekend Dublin hosts Ireland’s biggest gardening event called BLOOM IN THE PARK. As much as I would love to be there, I won’t be arriving for a few more weeks, so I poked around for garden festivals going on this summer.

Tralee Garden Festival

15 June – 17 June

Galway Garden Festival

14 July – 15 July

Carlow Garden Festival

28 July – 5 Aug

And even if you’re not there during festival season, Ireland’s gardens are gorgeous just about year-round.

  1. The gardens of ireland are wonderful, I have ti say the Powerscourt gardens in Wicklow were the highlight of my mothers visit, and a trip to the waterfall shouldn’t be missed. I bet the Tralee garden festival would be fun, plus it would be a good excuse to travel out to dingle.
    Cheers,
    Brian.
