Parkes Castle and Lough Gill
Located 7.5 miles (12km) from Sligo town, Parkes Castle and a driving tour around Lough Gill make for a wonderful day out. The castle offers several rooms to explore, but a visit is made memorable by walking the high walls and taking in the view of the lake.

We were driving in Ireland and got lost one day, and ended up here. Beautiful sight! I can’t wait to go back to Ireland!
