Ireland, It’s Quite Nice Actually!

Ireland, its quite nice actually! from jonny pardoe on Vimeo.

I fell in love with Ireland again this summer! With all the bad press and recession talk I thought I’d put together something a little more positive. These photographs were all taken in Ireland, the vast majority in the last few months. All photos are copyright Jonny Pardoe Photography but feel free to share the link! Music by The Heathers “Remember When.”

  1. Thank you for making me remember all the special feelings of my last trip to Ireland. It’s such a funny and magic video! I’m still smiling :)

  2. These photos of Johhny Pardoe are brilliant! I recognise so many of the places and quite a lot seem to be the West….even County Clare I think? These images are part of us and our landscape…..he has photographed the real Ireland which still has glimpses of the past. I have looked at the photos a few times and love them, they capture my Ireland.

  3. Thanks for all your kind comments about my video! I am really glad people like it. As a photographer you can spend so much time trying to protect your photographs but when I put these all together I just thought that I should put them out rather than let them sit on a hard drive. There are quite a number of shots from Clare but also from Cork, Galway, Donegal, Antrim, Armagh and a whole pile of places in between. I think I will make a sequel! Again, feel free to pass on the link. If you have never been to Ireland may I recommend a visit. You will not experience anything quite like it, especially in the rural areas. Its special.
