Hang Out with Us In the Cultural Village at Milwaukee Irish Fest
That big Irish cultural extravaganza known as Irish Fest takes over Milwaukee next week, and Corey and I will set up our own little Irish Fireside at the Moore Street Market in the Cultural Village.
If you’re attending, make sure to stop by and say hi. We’d LOVE to meet you, talk about Ireland, and have some great craic. We’ll also have a display of Liam’s jewelry that is crafted from shards of broken dishes on hand. A large number of his pieces are recovered in Ireland including Irish Belleek, Nicholas Mosse Pottery, Kilkenny Pottery, Arklow China and more.
The Cultural Village is on the south end of the festival grounds and tends to be slightly calmer and cooler (thanks Lake Michigan) than the rest of the park. We’ll be there Friday, Saturday, Sunday from opening until sundown, so unless we’re on a break, you should have no trouble finding us… just look for the broken dishes

YEOW!!!! WOW!!! Wish I lived on the East Coast.. I’d be there in a heart beat. Would love to meet you 2. BUT sadly, I am West Coast. Pacifica, California. 10 mins from SF… Maybe one day you’ll have a venue out here..
It’s a great festival.
We usually get out to Palm Springs and LA in the winter, but usually not as far at SF. One day we’ll cross paths.
I wish I could be there. It’s a great festival. I’ve been there twice with my books and spoke at the Hedge School. Have fun!
I got no culture….and it’s a fur piece from the Third Coast to Milwaukee….but I’m there in spirit. Good selling, lads!
I wish I could go to the festival. Maybe next year.
OOH!! i want to be there!!! and, we love milwaukee. what FUN!!
We would not miss this largest Irish Cultural event in North America. Next to a visit to Ireland, this is the next best place to be for Irish culture and entertainment. We were in Ireland this summer and this will be our mini trip back to the emerald isle.
I know we will hear more traditional Irish music and see more Irish dancing than we did on our trip to Ireland, it’s everywhere on the 90 acre festival grounds with its 19 stages for entertainment. One day at this event is not enough, you need all weekend to see it all.
I would love to come to both, Milwaukee and Irish Fest. This year is not meant to be, but one day!
We, in San Diego, do get to Palm Springs for nice desert r&r occasionally, so maybe our paths will cross there one day!
Slainte!
