My Super Secret Waterfall in County Tipperary Ireland

Vale of Cuneen

This is one of my favorite spots in all of Ireland. There is no path to get there, and the nearest road is nothing more than a track with grass growing up the middle.

There are about seven waterfalls on in about a half mile of river, and each has its own little characteristics that make it memorable… one is quiet and serene, another is aggressive with rushing water, yet another feels enchanted as it is surrounded by a glen of ferns clinging to rocks.

It’s located in County Tipperary, near the town of Nenagh, but I won’t tell you any more than it’s close to my cottage… I want to keep it a little secret.
