Solitude Near the Long Walk by Bernie Rosage

This oil painting by Bernie Rosage depicts The Long Walk, a street lined with colorful houses located on the banks of the River Corrib where it meets Galway Bay. The city’s gentry of old used to go for strolls here. Today, people continue to amble the promenade at The Long Walk which was mentioned in Steve Earle’s recent hit song “Galway Girl”… from the movie “PS, I Love You.”

Bernie lives in Onslow County, North Carolina.
