One of my most favorite parts of Ireland. My mother is from Kilrush.
My good friend’s Shalloo family is from Kilrush, too.
Amelia, my mother knows the Shalloo’s. My uncle Pat Fennell (her brother) was very good friends of Paddy Shalloo. Small world! Judy and Joan, very jealous! I was there last summer, and am hoping to go for my 50th birthday in January….
There’s a great addition to Loop Head – a new eco camp site called Pure Camping – Trea and Kevin have really put in a lot of work to make this a beautiful spot overlooking the estuary – highly recommend for a lovely escape – they have some tents you can hire.
