Dingle Craftspeople in the Spotlight

Dingle

As RTE, Ireland’s national television station, celebrates the second anniversary of their online player, viewers around the world can continue enjoying some of Ireland’s best television programs on their computer screens. What’s that, you say? You haven’t been tuning in to Irish TV.

Well then, may I suggest you start with a program like Nationwide which features human interest stories and cultural events from across the island. Their most recent episode puts the Dingle Peninsula and the craftspeople of County Kerry in the spotlight. Next week, you’ll probably want to watch Ear to Ground which features Ella McSweeney from Irish Fireside Episode #116.

Of course, you can also watch everything from lifestyle to drama to news… just no episodes of the Irish soap opera Fair City. Programs are usually available online for one to two weeks. Check out the lineup >>
