Scenes from a Cliffs of Moher Boat Tour

Most of us have enjoyed the spectacular views of the Cliffs of Moher from the Visitor Centre, but Jessie Voigts put together this video with photos from her boat tour. It’s a thrill seeing the Cliffs from this point of view.

  1. Ooooooooh I want to go there!! I’ve just been inspired to watch the Princess Bride again!

  2. I hope to take this boat ride in May of this year. That is if the weather will allow us. I remember… Be flexible !

  3. A view from a boat would be something unique. If you can’t do that, I would suggest that you go a few miles south to Loop Head to see even better cliffs, skipping the 8 euro fee to park and what is now the Disneyland approach at the Cliffs of Moher. So much nicer there years ago before all of the stuff that has been added there. Try Loop Head if you want a more rustic look at great cliffs in that area.

  4. thanks, everyone! it was an amazing journey! i have several disabilities and we thought a ferry trip was much more accessible than going through the visitor centre. i took hundreds of photos – i highly recommend it! :)

  5. curtis is right! Loophead drive down to the lighthouse is definitely more scenic and accessible. Beautiful rock formations and natural bridges along with deep green and blue water. And no crowds, no fees – remote and rural in feel.
