In the Churchyard

In the Churchyard

Today I was just thinking back on our visit with my cousin Bridget and her husband Sean. We stopped at Aghaviller Church and Round Tower, County Kilkenny. This shot shows the old church, but there is a ruin of a round tower right next to it as well.

My favorite moment from the visit was the two dogs who followed us into the churchyard. Below is a pic of one of them… quite a friendly fella, I must say.

  1. I love this shot! That dog looks like he has a lot on his mind.

I have a photo from a few years ago that I need to find: on a visit to Mainistir Ciaran on Inishmore, two horses in a field nearby trotted up and stuck their necks inside the monastery. They were beautiful, but I was a little spooked when they showed up!
