Free Downloadable Guides for Irish Towns & Cities

Here’s a resource to add to your travel planning. www.ArrivalGuides.com has produced free guides for Cork, Dublin, Galway, Killarney and Limerick… all places connected by Ireland’s rail network… and they are downloadable for FREE.

The guides provide a very basic overview with a handful of highlighted sites, restaurants, accommodations and shops. The maps that are included in the printed version do not pinpoint the sites mentioned, but they are a decent resolution to keep them readable when printed, and they may come handy for taking notes.

Check it out, and let us know what you think.

  2. These guides are being beta tested right now and are collaborations between Arrival Guides and tourism offices… so there’s no telling when additional guides will appear.

Fortunately, Derry and Belfast are well-covered by Belfast In Your Pocket. In fact, BIY is much more comprehensive than the Arrival Guides. http://www.inyourpocket.com/northern-ireland/belfast

  3. Just to let you all know that IYP international is in the final stages of making the guides available as an Apple iphone app. As a self-confessed luddite, I simply have no idea what this means but I’m assured it is good news… stay tuned for more details.
