It’s Saint Brigid’s Day

February 1 is the feast day of one of Ireland’s patron saints, Saint Brigid and it’s considered the beginning of spring for the Irish.

  2. St Brigid was born in County Louth in a quiet village named “Faughart” set upon a hill over looking Dundalk Bay about the year 454 A.D.
