To think we almost didn't go.....I even was part of a demenstration. We too purchased from the shop and enjoyed our time there. I at least hope that the 'new' operation will provide some employment for the area... We toured the plant and visitor center, and it was a highlight. Watching the craftsmen/women turn blobs of molten sand into works of art was wonderful. We did our part, so to speak, and purchased several small gifts, that were made in the plant, for friends. "it's from the Waterford plant", added a ton to the 'wow' factor.... Wish them the best..... That is sooooo sad….
