Thanks so much for your wonderful comments. It was a great day for me and feeling such warmth from you and your grandmother as I was talking. I also loved singing “Galway Bay” with everyone while holding the hand of my four year-old great niece who is Honora Kelly’s great-great-great-great granddaughter. My hope in writing “Galway Bay” is that readers look at heir own family history with new eyes and have experiences as you did with your Gram.

Hi Bill,

Thanks you probably know who I am know since we were right up front and Mary Pat spoke right to my gram. It was perfect because of her hearing and vision limitations. You should have heard her sing when the sing along came up. I didn’t know she even knew the words! She really had a grand time.

I also attended Irish College Day at Sacred Heart University. I really enjoyed it. All the speakers were great, including chatting with attendees before the event started.

After Mary Pat Kelly’s talk, I purchased Galway Bay on my Kindle and will read it soon.

BTW, Tom Foley has since thrown his hat in the ring for the Connecticut governor’s race.
