Titanic History… on Your iPhone

The Titanic sunk 100 years ago, but it’s story is being told with the latest technology. Titanic Dock is a new iPhone App that helps tell the story of the historic ship and the people associated with it. I’ve been testing it out, and it’s pretty easy to follow. Version 1.0 includes movies, factoids and an interactive map… I can only imagine what we’ll see in 2.0.

The app is connected with an online community at www.TitanicDock.com (you don’t need the app to participate – but iPhone users do get access to exclusive content). The site focuses on Belfast’s Titanic history.

Here’s a peek at the app in action from one of it’s creators… you might recognize the voice… it’s John Bustard who we interviewed waaaay back in Episode 13.
