I love the selections on the soapourri link. The Claddagh Glycerin Soap, I lost my Claddagh ring in a car accident, I had taken it off to have the emerald repaired, my car didn't survive the crash, neither did my ring, lost in the rubble, thank God I was fine... In the meantime, I believe these fabulously scented, Claddagh designed rings will feel my heart and bathrooms until I replace my ring. Thanks Cindy!! Merry Christmas!

Nollaig Shona!

Absolutely amazing. I love this kind of stuff, and would buy all of it if it could be afforded. I must say though, I'm glad you put Rosetta Stone in the list. If it wasn't for that, I never would have found this wonderful place (I work for them, and because you placed us in there, it was sent with a link in our newsfeed email). I have several blogs I read regularly, but this has quickly become the tops.

Woohoo!
Rosetta stone has Gaeilge!! Now I know what to tell the family when they don't know what to get me.

And my gardening mum will giggle if I get her some authentic Irish dirt, though she will want to know if any sheep had a hand in the making of it.

I've enjoyed the food at the Burren Smokehouse many times and can certainly suggest it to anyone looking for Irish food gifts.

Thanks for the list!

Almost forgot - I highly recommend the Earthen Craft Pottery folks. They're always at Milwaukee Irish Fest as well as the Celtic Craft Fair in December and I own several of their pieces. They're beautiful, original, reasonable and unique. I have a tile necklace/pendant that I've received nothing but compliments on.

I've been looking everywhere for a tartan/tweed patchwork purse and haven't been able to find one. I've seen them for sale at Irish Fest and a few other places, so I know they exist. The ones on shopirish.com aren't exactly right. If anyone has any website suggestions, please pass them along!

Thanks

Wow! What a fantastic list. I shall give this list to my wife :-)
I also found many great items in a catalog from shopirish.com. There were
even some great items for the Irish Fireside Secret Santa list, not that I
am participating or anything..

While visiting the Soapourri link, I discovered A soft green soap with a fossil-like fern on top. This one really said "Ireland" to me.

It reminded me of the Famous Killarney Fern that I was hoping to see in Killarney National Park. I watched along the trails while walking there but never caught a glimpse of the now rare and elusive Fern.

It would seem likely to find the Killarney Fern imbedded as a fossil in stone.
