$1,400 for Your Best Shannon Region Photo

Shortbreaks Ireland is sponsoring a photo competition where you can turn your vacation photos into €1,000 (about $1,400).

The only catch is that photos must come from Ireland’s Shannon Region which includes Counties Clare, Limerick, North Tipperary and South Offaly.

Deadline is September 15, 2009, so take advantage of the recently lowered airfare and snap some pictures along the River Shannon.
