Sweeping the Floor with Irish Dance

corey says…I had a great time with the Oireachtas folks who came over from Ireland for Milwaukee Irish Fest. You could call this group the keepers of the old ways in Ireland…they are native Irish speakers and they celebrate traditional Irish music, dance and storytelling.

I video taped a segment where Caitlín Nic Gabhann and Brian Ó Cuinneagáin “sweep the floor” with Sean-Nós dancing…that’s traditional Irish dancing…the stuff that came BEFORE Riverdance.
