This is a wonderful collection of garden information – thank you for sharing this. I was curious to what you do in the December months as far as gardening. Many of our gardens keep the greenhouses going with Holiday blooms. We are planning a trip in early D ecember and would love to see the Garden world in Ireland!
Your best bet is to contact the gardens along your route and find out when they are open. You will find many gardens will not be open or operate on very limited schedules during December.
If you are visiting a family-run garden like Knockpatrick Gardens and you let them know when you are planning to arrive, be sure to contact them if your plans change. They may have rearranged their holiday schedule to accommodate your visit.
Good luck.
