Fairies and Leprechauns

Since everyone should be rested and recovered from Saint Patrick’s Day by now, I thought I’d direct you to a fun little dose of the leprechauns and little people.

Gene and Bryan at www.HometownTales.com featured some of Ireland’s leprechaun and fairy folklore in their Elves, Gnomes, Fairies and Other Little Things episodes (#s 211 & 213). In Part 1 they get into Ireland at about the 10 minute mark. In Part 2 they talk about Scottish/Irish elves at about 11 minutes. It’s a fun podcast and I thought some of our listeners might want to check it out.

FYI – Each week Hometown Tales talks about, well, hometown tales…that means legends, folklore, notable characters, historic events, urban legends, even UFOs…anything that makes a town unique.

You can visit their website or find them at iTunes or click on the specific episode at Podcast Alley (#s 211 & 213).
